Conference call is a smart and efficient way for many people to communicate with each other at the same time. Often, two people talking to each other might need to listen from a third person. In such a scenario, instead of disconnecting the existing call, a conference call could be done by which all three can talk to each other. In earlier days, students used to communicate with their parents. Both parents could talk and listen if the call was on a speaker. However, if all three people intending to communicate with each other are in different locations, conference is the best solution to keep everyone on the same page, instead of a one to one conversation and then clarification. The latter could lead to miscommunication and misunderstanding.
