2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver are leaving no reason fo the usa women’s snowboard team to be sweating it out. In 2006 at the Olympics in Torino the USA walked away with seven medals two gold, two silver, and one bronze. The USA team topped their closest competitor by four medals.

The USA team has several returning Olympic medalists including Hannah Teter who took gold in the half pipe, Gretchen Bleiler who took silver in the half pipe and Lindsey Jacobellis who took silver in snowboardcross. Jacobellis will be returning to try and earn back the gold medal that should have been hers, she was way ahead of all the competition and in attempting a trick on the last jump fell and had to watch Switzerland’s Tanja Frieden take the gold.
