Really, the only kind of jokes a wedding mc or other wedding speaker should use at a wedding is a clean joke. Most wedding receptions include the very old and the very young. The best choice is to use clean wedding jokes in your speech or wedding MC duties. Clean doesn’t mean that the jokes can’t have innuendo – usually of a sexual nature – it just means no strong language including swear words and outright humiliation of a gender or the individual bride or groom. A wedding reception audience is willing to be entertained so any attempts at appropriate humor will be well rewarded.
