When I applied for my VA streamline refinance loan, I was surprised that it was such an easy transaction. I didn’t have to go to the VA to file the loan, nobody did a credit check or even an employment verification. I was able to get in and out within my lunch hour. I wasn’t expecting my refinancing to be so simple. There was no out of pocket cost to me– which was really nice, and I was able to walk away with the money that I needed to refinance my home and pay my other bills. I didn’t have to wait to have my home appraised either, which I was really glad for– considering all the work that needed to be done.
