Making it through an economic time like this can be a real challenge for even the most financially savvy person. Those of us who weren’t so fortunate as to be on solid financial footing before the recession hit have certainly fared worse. It is tempting to let your pride get the best of you, but I’ve had to lay mine aside in order to make ends meet and salvage what is left of my financial picture. Last month I had to sell gold for cash just to make my car payment. It’s certainly not something I’m proud of, but I’m still holding on and waiting for a better day!
