Customer Service is Vitally Important
Some people are willing to pay extra for excellent customers service. I’m thinking in particular of Nordstrom and Zappos.com customers. The fact that Nordstrom personnel will walk around the cash register to hand you your bag (instead of over the counter) may be costing your pocket book. Plus, places like Zappos that offer free, instant shipping both ways, have experience huge run-away success. Well, I believe there are some inherent characteristics that should be present at any company when it comes to customer service. If you were buying Wholesale Plants, for instance, you may not want someone to hold your hand through the process, but to have your sales guy keep his word on all commitments (quality, price, delivery time, etc.), should be a basic quality that you shouldn’t have to pay extra for.
