We have been trying to make our home as energy efficient as possible. I found a book from the governement that is an Insulation R Value Guide . It seems to be a good guide but I am still not sure how this is aupposed to aid me. I alwasy figured there was some kind of minimum R value for appliances or doors or whatever and if you went with something a lot higher in R value, then you would keep reaping the benefits. But I guess there is a point where there are diminishing returns and that more is not necessarily better. Who knew?
