I have to go into hospital soon for an operation. That’s simple to prepare for, but I also have to think about coming home again. I will be having a hip operation, and know that for three months after things will be a bit difficult, living on crutches. Luckily my wife is well organized, and has worked in an old people’s home. Okay, I’m not old, but she knows the problems I will have. The bathroom is important to organize, so we are having some bathroom grab bars installed before I go in for the operation. That and the raised toilet seat will make life a bit easier.
