My mother is afraid of germs. She is fearful of getting sick all the time. I knew that this would be an issue when I asked her to join me in a day of shopping at the mall. She used to love to spend money at the specialty shops. At first she refused to come with me, but changed her mind after I showed her the statistics of the mall nearby. I called the shopping mall manager, and she assured me that they use commercial cleaners to keep everything clean. All of the floors and restrooms are wiped down daily. My mother agreed to go provided we went right away in the morning before the crowds of people arrive.
