Change Your Grip To Correct a Slice
One of the most common reasons and contributors to a golf slice is the manner in which the hands are gripping the club. In order to determine if this is a problem, go through your set up, and look down at your hands. If you are a right handed golfer and you can’t see any knuckles on your left hand, then you’ve got yourself a grip problem. The opposite is true if you are a left handed golfer looking down at your right hand.
In this situation, the golf grip has over rotated to the left, which will cause your hands to pull the club out of alignment on impact with the ball. To correct a slice, adjust your hands so that you can see one to three knuckes on your left hand.
