Six years ago, I graduated from medical school with a mountain of debt. My student loans are running almost as much as my medical malpractice insurance each month. I am seriously reconsidering my decision to become a medical doctor. We were talking in the lounge the other day and one of my co-workers said he just consolidated his loans. I asked how that was done and he gave me all of the necessary information and people to talk to. I have a meeting with a Federal Loan Consolidation officer next week and I am hoping he can help me with this problem.

My daughter Sarah and I were getting ready to go on our annual school shopping trip when my friend called and said I needed to check out this site first.  She said she had been surfing the Internet for clothing coupons when she landed on this site.  I got on and couldn’t believe all the stores that we regularly shop had coupons posted.  I printed out at least 10 and then we headed out to begin our day.  Thanks to our coupons we saved over $150 between all of our purchases.  I’m so glad I know where to get great coupons.

My daughter has been in scouts for nine years now and the same two women have led her troop for the entire time. In March, they each have a birthday and she wants to get gifts for them. I know they both love to do crafts so I thought we would put together birthday gift baskets. In each basket, we would put a new stamping set, knitting needles, yarn and a gift card to a local craft store. I may also throw in a few other odds and ends like scrapbooking stickers or pens but I’ll have to see how much everything costs. I can’t spend a fortune although I would like to. These women are amazing.

My grandson is just entering into his teenage years. He has shown a little interest in chess, especially since he found out his grandfather had been a very serious player. I wanted to peak his interest some more so I bought him the lord of the rings chess set. It will last as long as his interest does, possibly longer if he decides it is not for him after all. I hope he will enjoy it as much as he enjoyed the book series. I much prefer a game like chess to the games that take no brain work. Very few other games come as such a beautiful collector’s item.

I love wearing signature bags. I buy them every few years or when I have extra cash to spare for such a luxury. Lately, I’ve been searching for a vintage coach city bag. I’ll be hitting the flea markets very soon in search of my vintage coach bag. It would be good to take a close look at them to examine for any damage or wear and tear. Since it is an old vintage, it may have some damage to it.

I arrived at my desk this morning to discover that there was a big nine litre fire extinguisher sitting on it. When I asked around to find out about it, nobody seemed to know where it had come from or who had put it there. If I had walked in to find a drinking fountain it would have been understandable as the company itself specializes in the sale and distribution of drinking fountains. However to find a fire extinguisher was quite a surprise, it looked out of place on my desk and I needed to find a place for it as soon as possible.
