My husband has been an architect for the last 15 years, but he has always had a love for art and design that really go well beyond the confines of his job.  He has designed a new type of structure that he says he thinks is quite different from anything that has ever been done before, but he wants to make sure that it is really a totally new and original idea.  He needs a patent, and he is going to hire a lawyer to engage in a search.  The purpose of the search is to make sure that this idea is as unique as he thinks it is.
