I really wanted to take my new york wedding photo talent choice seriously. As far as my dress and flowers, I couldn’t care less. I just didn’t take the dress that seriously. I hate shopping, so I just bought it online at J Crew and was very happy. After some tailoring, the dress was perfect. The flowers, again, no big deal. The photography however, was something we took very seriously. We are both from artistic families. My mother is a sculptor, and John’s mom is a painter, gave us a baseline aesthetic we wouldn’t dip below. We simply had to take just the right thing. We weren’t going to compromise.
